River & Root Farm sits along the upper Santa Fe River in Alachua County, Florida — just outside Gainesville. The land includes blueberry orchards, bamboo groves, forest trails, and river access.
During blueberry season (late March – early June): u-pick hours and the farm store are open on announced days. We’ll post the season schedule and weekly updates here and through our email list.
Outside of season: the farm is available for events, workshops, photography & film, and farm tours by appointment.

During season, pick directly from the bushes. Berries are sold by the pound. Kid-friendly — kids welcome under supervision.
Fresh pre-picked blueberries, cold drinks, ice pops, snacks, simple baked goods, and herbal products from Fertile Ground Apothecary.
Short walking trails through dense bamboo and Florida forest, with access to the upper Santa Fe River.
Kid-friendly guided tours available by appointment. Walk the farm, see the bees, learn how blueberries grow.
